你所提出的这几个解释或者疑问，其实在我前面所翻译的章节里都有了回答。因为我是逐字逐句翻译的，而且尽量保证不因为语言的不同而引起意思的歧义。很多字句看起来是非常罗嗦的，就是因为我想尽量表达作者完整的意思，不会因为翻译的转换而丢失掉原本深层的含义。

“死亡后生命依然存在”这句话，在原文里其实只有一个词：“the afterlife”，

中文就是简单的“来生，来世”。但是依据我们一般的理解，“来生”或者“来世”，是指生命离开肉体相当长的时间，又重新以肉体的方式回到这个世界。所以在这儿用这样的翻译未免不妥。

在维基百科全书里，对它有非常详细的解释：
